Expert Agreement

This Expert Agreement applies to Experts using the platform ("Website") operated by Legal Advice 247.

This Expert Agreement, Legal Advice 247's Terms of Service, and all rules, policies and disclaimers posted on the Website or about which you are notified govern your use of the Website.

You may not submit an application to become an Expert on the Website if you do not agree to these terms. By using or otherwise accessing the Website as an Expert, you (1) accept and agree to the terms of this Expert Agreement, the Expert Community Guidelines, and all rules, policies, and disclaimers posted on the Website or about which you are notified; and (2) consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and other handling of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

  1. General Provisions and Exclusion of Use

Legal Advice 247 provides the Website through which you, once admitted as an "Expert" by Legal Advice 247, can answer general questions posed by the registered "Customers" of the Website in your capacity as a registered Expert.

Legal Advice 247 is not responsible for the contents of questions and answers of Experts and Customers. If you answer a question, an agreement shall come into existence exclusively between you and the Customer posing the question.

Only natural persons of legal age may be registered as Experts at Legal Advice 247. If you would like to register as an Expert, you must demonstrate the required special knowledge and experience that Customers can expect from especially knowledgeable persons in the respective field.

Note that you are agreeing to restrictions to your rights of personality specified according to this contract.

  1. Registration as an Expert

Registration as an Expert is free of charge. The data queried during your registration must be stated completely and correctly. You must notify Legal Advice 247promptly of changes to the data you have provided.

You can apply for registration on the Website by following the provided guidance. A registration requires, in particular, that you answer the questions posed to you in your application completely and truthfully.

You can see various categories and fields via the relevant function on the Website and select the category and/or subcategory in which you would like to register as an Expert.

By selecting a category and submitting your application, you represent that you have the required expertise and special knowledge of an Expert in that category. If you are a UK solicitor or Barrister you must have a current practice certificate and insurance.

Legal Advice 247 is not obligated to accept your application for registration. In particular, Legal Advice 247 is authorised to request further verification from you regarding your qualifications, particularly certificates, references, and licenses, before or after your registration as an Expert. You shall bear any costs that might accrue for the acquisition of the documents requested by Legal Advice 247 and forwarding them to Legal Advice 247 yourself.

In addition, Legal Advice 247 is authorised to obtain information concerning your qualification as an Expert via appropriate trustworthy third-party service providers, before or after your registration as an Expert. The service provider may review, in particular, whether you have the license and/or qualification necessary for answering questions in the respective category.

This is necessary to prevent the registration of "false" Experts to the greatest extent possible and ensure high quality answers. To this end, we will, to the extent necessary, inform these service providers of your personal data of which we are aware. The service providers shall be obligated to use such data and their results solely for this purpose and not transmit them to third parties.

You will receive a corresponding message if we register you as an Expert. You will then be a registered Expert until your registration is revoked and/or terminated.

  1. Modification of Your Data

Modifications of your data, particularly changes to your address, name, title, professional designation, references, your admission as a member of a certain professional group, professional bans, and other events that could affect your registration as an Expert must be communicated to Legal Advice 247 by email.

Legal Advice 247 reserves the right, and you as an Expert agree to comply, to periodically audit the credentials of any Expert on the platform. Expert agrees that, if found ineligible to continue using the site, Legal Advice 247may remove such Expert immediately.

  1. Password and User ID

With your registration, you will choose a password and a user ID that will allow you to communicate with Customers asking questions via the Website. You agree not to share your password and user ID to ensure that other individuals cannot access or answer questions using your Expert Account. Please note that you can be held responsible if unauthorized third parties answer questions using your Expert Account, which may include removal from the Website.

If you suspect that someone is using your Expert Account without your consent, inform Legal Advice 247 immediately, in order that the account can be promptly blocked. You shall be liable for unauthorized persons' use of your account, if you bear responsibility for such use (for example, due to the furnishing of or negligent disclosure of your login data), until the account is blocked.

  1. Legal Relationships and Conclusion of the Contract

Your use of the Website may involve two different kinds of legal relationships. An agreement between you and Legal Advice 247 in accordance with these conditions comes into existence upon your registration by Legal Advice 247, of which you will be notified via the e-mail address you have entered.

In addition, when a Customer's question is answered, a contractual relationship can, depending on the content of the questions and your answer, come into existence between you and the Customer concerning free information or advice in accordance with applicable statutory provisions; in this regard, you shall have no claim to any remuneration.

A contractual relationship in exchange for payment shall only come into existence with the Customer when the Customer pays you an amount for your answer using the function on the Website intended for this purpose. Legal Advice 247 shall not become a party to such contractual relationships.

You can see from the Terms of Service how and when you conclude a contract with the Customer. Note that the Customer may have a right of revocation, such that they can possibly request the return of any sum that has already been paid. You shall be informed promptly via e-mail in the event of exercise of a right of revocation by the Customer that is sent to Legal Advice 247.

You agree that Legal Advice 247 shall be your authorised recipient for declarations of revocations by Customers. In the event a customer appropriately exercises their right of revocation, Legal Advice 247shall refund the relevant amount to the Customer from your Expert Account.

You are an independent provider of services, and you represent and warrant you are authorised to conduct the services contemplated in this Expert Agreement in the location in which you operate. You further agree that you are not an employee of Legal Advice 247 and you understand that (a) you have sole discretion in selecting which Customer questions to answer from those that are made available to you on the Platform, (b) you may elect not to answer any questions from Customers, and (c) you have sole discretion in controlling how you perform any services on the Platform.

No relationship (such as partnership, agent, joint venture, or employee) between you and Legal Advice 247 is created by this Expert Agreement or your participation on the Platform. You acknowledge that you are not an employee or agent of Legal Advice 247 but are, like Customers, only Users of the Platform.

You shall act in accordance with this status and shall not hold yourself out as an officer, employee or agent of Legal Advice 247, nor make any claim based on any right or privilege applicable to Legal Advice 247's employees.

Under no circumstances shall you look to Legal Advice 247 as your employer, or as a partner, agent, or principal. Nothing regarding your participation on the Platform will be considered as an endorsement, referral or recommendation by Legal Advice 247 of you or the answers you provide and you will not, either on the Platform or in any other forum or by any other means, suggest such an endorsement.

  1. Answering Questions of Customers

As soon as you are registered as an Expert, you can answer the questions of Customers in the category and/or subcategory in which you are approved as an Expert by Legal Advice 247. Answering questions from other categories and/or subcategories is not permissible.

Customers can ask questions to all approved Experts within a category or to a select Expert. You can see how this works from the explanations on the Website and, in particular, the Terms of Service.

Your answers to Customers' questions may only serve general informational purposes. You should not answer any questions that a customer has clearly posted with respect to their highly personal situation.

You acknowledge and agree that your answers may be published on the Website, and that they may be published under your profile name. Posts and any other communication between you and a customer, including but not limited to phone calls facilitated by our Platform, are not confidential and may be used by Legal Advice 247 for any purpose.

Such communications are not private or confidential, nor are they protected by attorney-client, doctor-patient, or any other privilege, and such communications may be recorded, transcribed, read, collected, published, and used by others. reserves the right to remove any or all of your posts or other communications, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice, as well as modify posts or other communications for privacy purposes and at our editorial discretion, including for clarity or length.

Some professional groups are only permitted to answer questions from Customers under certain conditions in accordance with applicable statutory requirements and other requirements of professional law or rules that are applicable to them. It is solely your responsibility to comply with such regulations and requirements.

You may only answer questions by Customers if you are certain that you possess the required knowledge. You must answer the questions with the diligence of a professional and in accordance with any existing requirements, obligations, and standards of your professional group. In case of doubt, do not answer a question or, if you have been addressed directly, inform the Customer that you cannot answer the question. You can and should ask the Customer for clarification if you are not certain how a question should be understood.

Legal Advice 247 may offer certain tools on the Website, including a mobile application or any other tools (collectively, "Tools"). Without limitation, offered Tools may include large language models and artificial intelligence features that Experts may utilize to review, analyse, and provide suggestions for responding to Customer questions. Any Tools made available to you are offered on an as-is basis with no warranties of any kind or fitness of purpose. You shall remain solely responsible for the accuracy and content of your responses and compliance with this Expert Agreement, regardless of whether you use the Tools made available to you. If you use a Tool to prepare communication with a customer, you agree to carefully review any suggestion from such Tool and you remain solely responsible for the accuracy and content of your responses created with the support of such Tools. You agree that no automated messages or responses will be sent to the Customer by such Tools. Tools may not be altered, manipulated or otherwise changed so as to answer Customers directly without prior review by you.

As between you and Legal Advice 247, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, intellectual property rights in and to the input and output derived from the use of Tools using AI are subject to this Expert Agreement. The assignments and licenses granted to you do not extend to the input or output of other Experts, Customers, or third parties.

Legal Advice 247may use any input or output provided by you to provide, maintain, develop and improve its services, comply with applicable law, enforce these terms and policies and ensure the security of its services.

You may not ask for the personal contact information of the Customers in your answers/responses.

  1. Payments to Experts

  2. Standard Questions and Service

Customers on Legal Advice 247may be presented with one of two payment models: (1) membership model or (2) pay-per-question ("PPQ") model.

Membership Model. For questions submitted through the membership model, an Expert shall be paid a fee by Legal Advice 247for each question answered based on the Expert's designated pricing tier (or level) for that time period and their category as specified to the Expert via email or through the Platform. Each week, Legal Advice 247 will notify Experts of the pay-out amount per question the Expert will receive in the following week. Pay-outs are determined by Legal Advice 247 based on several factors, explanations for these can be found on Legal Advice 247’s Help Centre.

PPQ Model. For questions submitted through the PPQ model, Experts receive the fee offered in the Platform for such question (the "Question Value") following submission of the answer. For clarity, where payments are based on Customer ratings, Expert shall not receive any fees for Customer ratings below 3. The amount to be paid to you for a satisfactory answer to a question will be communicated to you with the question. If you find the amount to be too low, do not answer the Customer's question. Legal Advice 247 shall collect the price from the Customer on behalf of the Expert. Legal Advice 247 shall retain a part of the price as consideration for Legal Advice 247's service to the Expert.

You agree that your pricing tier (or level) pay-out amounts and Question Value are determined by Legal Advice 247 in its sole discretion and may be changed periodically.

Question Incentive Program Payment. Legal Advice 247, in its sole discretion, may offer additional compensation ("Incentive Payment") to Experts for answering certain questions subject to certain conditions (e.g., within a certain timeframe). An Expert shall only receive an Incentive Payment if such Expert satisfies all the conditions disclosed at the time the Incentive Payment was offered.

a) Customer Paid Bonuses

Customers may have the opportunity to provide Experts bonuses or tips ("Customer Paid Bonus"). Except as otherwise provided on the Platform, Legal Advice 247 shall retain 3%, calculated based on an applicable foreign exchange rate determined by us, of such Customer Paid Bonus as consideration for Just Answer's service to the Expert.

b) Premium Services

Legal Advice 247 may also enable you to participate in Premium Services, which are additional services a customer may elect to upgrade to at either a prompt from Legal Advice 247 or a prompt from an Expert. This may include a live telephone call, document review and analysis, remote desktop assistance, and/or a web conference. Customers may pay additional fees for Premium Services. For Premium Services prompted by Legal Advice 247, an Expert shall receive the fee displayed on the Platform to such Expert for providing such Premium Service following satisfaction of the conditions for the Premium Services, including providing the Premium Services and Expert submission of the fulfilment report as set forth below. Legal Advice 247 shall collect the price from the Customer on behalf of the Expert and shall retain a part of this price as consideration for Legal Advice 247's service to the Expert. For a Premium Service prompted by the Expert, except as otherwise provided on the Platform, Legal Advice 247 shall retain 50% of the Expert-offered price for providing the Premium Service. If the Customer requests and is entitled to a refund of fees paid for Premium Services, the fees received by the Expert for those Premium Services will be withdrawn from the Expert's account and refunded to the Customer.

c) Withdrawal of Fees

Legal Advice 247 will transfer your Account balance to you via Hyperwallet by the fourth (4th) business day of the upcoming month, as long as you have more than the equivalent of Twenty UK Pounds (£20) of fees and/or payments in your Account (i.e. you cannot place funds into your Account to reach £20; it must be accumulated through fees and/or payments earned on the Platform).

You agree that Legal Advice 247 has the right to resolve Customer complaints as it deems necessary or advisable, including, in Legal Advice 247's sole discretion, issuing refunds to Customers to settle disputes.

You agree that if Legal Advice 247 decides to issue a refund to a Customer, Legal Advice 247 may seek reimbursement from the Expert for such refund, or Legal Advice 247 may offset any refunds against any future Customer payments to be forwarded to the Expert. You also agree that Legal Advice 247 reserves the right to resolve accounting discrepancies with Customers in its sole discretion.

If Legal Advice 247 believes, in its sole discretion, that any Customer funds were paid to an Expert under suspicious circumstances or that funds were derived from a suspicious Customer account, Legal Advice 247 will investigate the situation until it has reached an adequate resolution, as determined by Legal Advice 247 in its sole discretion. The investigation or resolution may require the involvement of certain third parties, such as an applicable credit card company. Such an investigation may require Legal Advice 247 to put a hold on an Expert's account. Legal Advice 247 will make commercially reasonable efforts not to exceed a 90-day hold on an Expert's account during such an investigation.

d) Customers' Ability to Pay and Payment Processing Disclaimers

You acknowledge that Legal Advice 247 has no control over, and makes no representation or warranty of any kind, as to the ability or willingness of Customers to pay for the answers provided by Experts. In addition, you acknowledge that you are never required by Legal Advice 247 to answer any questions on the Platform.

Legal Advice 247 disclaims any warranty that its billing and payment system is without error. If an Expert believes there is a problem with Legal Advice 247's billing or payment system, the Expert should notify Legal Advice 247 by email using the contact information identified in Section 25 of this agreement within thirty (30) days of such problem. Upon receipt of the notification of such a problem, Legal Advice 247 will, in good faith, work to remedy any alleged payment errors.

The balance in your Expert Account shall not bear interest. In the event of termination of your Expert status, any residual balance shall be disbursed to you (after deduction of any claims held by Legal Advice 247) within 30 days after the termination takes effect.

  1. Tax and Invoicing

Depending on your tax status, you alone are legally responsible for:

declaring and remitting the correct amount of Value Added Tax or equivalent taxes ("VAT") and other taxes, where applicable, to the tax authorities in your jurisdiction in respect of the amount(s) you receive for your services through the Legal Advice 247 Platform; and

issuing proper tax / VAT invoices for your services through the Legal Advice 247 Platform.

Please note that the amounts that you receive through Legal Advice 247 are at all times inclusive of the applicable statutory amount of VAT and other taxes.

You are also responsible for declaring and remitting the correct amount of VAT or other taxes to your tax authorities in relation to the amount(s) charged to you or withheld from you by Legal Advice 247 for the utilization of the services of Legal Advice 247 (Legal Advice 247's service fee to you).

In the event tax authorities assert claims against Legal Advice 247 in relation to VAT or other taxes - for reasons for which you are responsible - not correctly declared or remitted, you shall indemnify Legal Advice 247 from such claims.

Legal Advice 247 shall provide you with a monthly overview of the amounts payable to you in return for answering questions of Customers.

The following applies with respect to the issuance of invoices under the Membership Model: In the Membership Model you are, for VAT purposes only, considered to receive payment for answering questions from Legal Advice 247 and thus have provided your Expert service to Legal Advice 247 instead of to the Customer.

  1. Special Requirements for Certain Professional Groups

In particular, Experts in the categories, including but not limited to law and justice, medicine, taxes, accounting, veterinary medicine, and pharmacy, must take special care that they only answer questions of general interest and do not provide any advice that could lead to the establishment of a special relationship of trust with the Customer, for example, an attorney-client relationship, consultation agreement, or doctor-patient relationship.

Certain professional groups are currently not allowed to perform certain services without compensation. This may include but is not limited to doctors, veterinarians, architects, tax consultants, and accountants. If, in accordance with the legal and professional conditions/requirements applicable to you, it is not possible for you to answer questions free of charge, you agree to inform the Customers of this and/or refrain from answering the question.

Note that, according to the professional regulations for certain professions, so-called self-advertising (advertising of your services) could be illegal, and the answering of questions could be seen as such self-advertising. Certain professional groups are also subject to competition restrictions. You agree to comply with any such regulations and restrictions.

As an Expert, you are personally responsible for ensuring that you comply with the provisions of professional law and regulations that apply to you within your profession. It is your responsibility to determine what your ethical obligations are and to use our website, including when you create a public profile, in compliance with your obligations. For example, it is solely up to you to determine whether your publicly displayed name on the Website should match your legal name, per the professional, legal, and ethical obligations in your field of work. Legal Advice 247 shall assume no liability for your non-compliance with applicable laws, regulations or rules and cannot advise you in this regard. In cases of doubt, please consult the competent professional organisations.

  1. No Liability on the Part of Legal Advice 247 for the Content of Customers and Experts or for Telecommunications Connections

Since Legal Advice 247 solely provides an Internet platform to Experts and Customers, Legal Advice 247 is not liable for the content that Customers and Experts exchange via e-mail or directly via the Website or that is visible on the Website. The same shall apply to defamatory or insulting content, criminally relevant content or in the event of the infringement of rights of third parties (for example, copyright infringements, trademark infringements, etc.) as a result of the communication and content posted or exchanged via the Website. Legal Advice 247 is also not responsible for the content of websites that are referred to by Legal Advice 247, the Customers, or the Experts by means of links or otherwise. Legal Advice 247 shall, however, remove the relevant content from the Website if there is concrete suspicion of illegal content. You should inform Legal Advice 247 if you have such a suspicion using the contact information identified in Section 25 of this agreement.

Legal Advice 247 shall not be responsible for the means of communication with which you communicate with the Website and/or the Customers. Legal Advice 247 shall therefore not be liable for an outage or disruption of such means of communication, unless Legal Advice 247 has culpably caused such outage or disruption. Legal Advice 247 reserves the right to temporarily restrict access to the Website if work on the system is necessary or the content of the Website is being changed.

  1. Restrictions on the Liability of Legal Advice 247

If Legal Advice 247 itself is liable in exceptional situations, the liability of Legal Advice 247 shall be limited to intentional and grossly negligent conduct. In the event of simple negligence on the part of Legal Advice 247, Legal Advice 247 shall only be liable in the event of the breach of substantial contractual obligations (obligations, on whose fulfilment by Legal Advice 247 the Expert was permitted to rely). In the event of negligence, the liability shall be restricted to the foreseeable and contractually typical damage. The statutory liability of Legal Advice 247 in the event of injuries to life and limb shall remain unaffected.

  1. Your Obligations

In addition to the other obligations with which you are required to comply in accordance with this agreement and the additional provisions that apply to you as an Expert, you are, in particular, not permitted to do any of the following in the course of your questions, answers, or other content you contribute to the platform:

  • Violate statutory provisions, public morality, or provisions of competition law;
  • Infringe rights of third parties (e.g., rights of personality, trademark rights, copyrights);
  • Distribute content that is unconstitutional, pornographic, or harmful to young people;
  • Engage in any advertising, including by means of linking to other websites;
  • Disseminate defamatory, slanderous, demeaning, discriminatory, racist content or content that serves the sole purpose of dissemination of ideological, political, or religious goals;
  • Disseminate content that violates statutory provisions, governmental provisions, or provisions of professional law that are applicable to you;
  • Misrepresent your relationship with Legal Advice 247 or any other third parties.

Advertising for third parties, for example, by means of linking to external websites, banners and the like, is not permissible.

You shall be required to reasonably ensure that you do not, through your communication, negatively affect the services of the Website or the means of communication of the Customers or other third parties by means of computer viruses, trojans, Internet worms or the like.

You also may not claim outside of the Website that Legal Advice 247 is sponsoring or supporting you or your answers and contributions. During the period of your Expert status, you are not permitted to make disparaging statements about Legal Advice 247 or its employees, or about Customers or Experts, or hold yourself out as a representative or employee of Legal Advice 247.

You are not permitted to accept payments from Customers for your answers to questions posed via the Website outside of the payment method described in this agreement, offer Customers to answer questions posed via the Website directly with such Customers, or directly communicate with such Customers in circumvention of the Website.

In order to prevent Customers' circumvention attempts, your signatures in your response e-mails via the Website may not contain telephone or fax numbers or your e-mail address. However, this information is included in your profile. You also may not include any incorrect statements concerning Legal Advice 247 or the function of the Website in your response e-mails.

You are personally responsible for the proper taxation of your revenues as an Expert for Legal Advice 247. This also applies, in particular, to the remittance of value-added tax.

  1. Evaluation of Your Answers

The Customer can leave you feedback with each of their "evaluated answers." The Customer can submit a positive, negative or neutral evaluation and, in addition, write a brief comment. Legal Advice 247 is aware that the evaluation by Customers is subjective. Legal Advice 247 does not exercise any influence over the evaluations. The satisfaction of Customers is, however, the highest priority of Legal Advice 247.

  1. Publications and Data Protection

Legal Advice 247 may make your answers and contributions to the questions of Customers accessible on the Website to all visitors to the Website, including disclosure of your name, title, professional designation, and address. In addition, these answers and contributions could also be found via search engines. For commercial purposes, we may also publish or cause the publication of your answers outside of the Website (for example, via advertising posts on external websites as well).

Customers can evaluate your answers using an evaluation system. Legal Advice 247 may make the results of these evaluations accessible to Customers (including all Experts) on the Website and via corresponding functions of the Website. The evaluation is dependent solely upon the subjective estimation of the Customers; Legal Advice 247 exercises no influence on this.

Note that certain personal data are visible to other registered Experts and Customers at all times. This includes all data that you provide during your registration (with the exception of the data marked with a "P"). Experts and Customers can also see how many questions you have already answered and how many of them have been positively evaluated by the Customers.

Your personal data shall be used, processed, and stored exclusively for the services of Legal Advice 247. Such data shall not be shared with third parties, with the exception of our service providers (e.g., researchers, PayPal), which will, in turn, be subjected to a corresponding obligation by Legal Advice 247. Beyond that, we will only provide your data to third parties if we are obligated to do so by law or governmental orders or other legal process, if required to defend ourselves against the rights or claims of third parties, or to protect the safety of the public or any person. As explained above, we will make your personal data, such as your name and professional designation, publicly accessible to Customers via the Website. Furthermore, we will use your address and your name when issuing receipts.

We may use your Expert name and your signature in order to send messages to the Customer in your name which refers to the questions asked of you and your answers (for example, a notification that your answer is ready to be viewed). We will, however, never under any circumstances formulate answers sent to Customers in your name or submit declarations that otherwise bind or burden you. We are further authorized to send you information that relates to your Expert status or the services of the Website via e-mail.

If you no longer agree to these terms, you must terminate your Expert status with Legal Advice 247 in accordance with this agreement. In addition, you have the options of closing your Expert Account or deleting your account. If you would like to close your account, the account shall be blocked, but you shall still be named as the Expert for purposes of questions that have already been answered. If you would like to delete your account, your account shall be deleted, but your answers shall continue to be visible, and your name shall be redacted.

  1. Confidentiality

As an Expert, you have access to certain confidential information about Legal Advice 247 and other Experts. You promise to always treat such information as confidential. Should you become aware of information about Customers, including other Experts and Customers, which is not intended for the public, you must also treat such information as strictly confidential. This obligation to maintain confidentiality shall also continue to apply after the end of this agreement until the information is no longer confidential due to its publication by us or by third parties.

  1. Block or Termination of Account

Legal Advice 247 is authorized to block your access to the Website as an Expert or your access as a whole if you breach your substantial duties arising from this agreement or from other terms and conditions of Legal Advice 247 that are applicable to you.

Legal Advice 247 will terminate your Expert status effective immediately for good cause if Legal Advice 247 becomes aware of circumstances, according to which you do not or no longer possess the required licensing for your Expert status. In cases of doubt, Legal Advice 247 shall be authorized to temporarily block your access to the Website and Customers, if there is justified doubt regarding your suitability or licensing. In such case, Legal Advice 247 will request that you provide information sufficient to resolve the issue. If you succeed in doing so, your access shall be restored.

  1. Other Services

In addition to the services described in these terms and conditions, Legal Advice 247 offers other services whose terms and conditions and function are provided on the Website. These services can be modified or discontinued by Legal Advice 247 at any time.

  1. Additional Binding Provisions

By way of supplement to these terms and conditions, all further conditions that can be seen on our Website and which, due to their nature, are binding shall also apply.   1. Amendment of Provisions

Legal Advice 247 shall be authorised to amend the terms and conditions of this contract, as well as additional legally binding content of the Website, at any time. If the changes are material, we will notify you at least 30 days before they take effect. Credits already existing in your Expert account shall not be affected by amendments.

Changes in the applicable law, court orders, or governmental orders might necessitate an immediate amendment of the contract and other provisions. In such case, Legal Advice 247 reserves the right to implement the amendments effective immediately, in which case we will notify you immediately. In such cases, you will have the right to immediately terminate your Expert status in accordance with this agreement, should you choose to do so.

  1. Transfer of the Legal Advice 247 Expert Agreement

Legal Advice 247 shall be authorised to transfer this agreement to one of its affiliated companies (companies in which Legal Advice 247 directly or indirectly holds the majority of the shares or the majority of the voting rights or companies which directly or indirectly hold the majority of the shares or voting rights in Legal Advice 247.

You shall be authorised to terminate this contract without compliance with a notice period by means of a notification to us by email.

If such a transfer occurs. We shall inform you of such a transfer via e-mail or a clear notice on the Website.

  1. Applicable Law

The law of the UK shall apply to this contract.

  1. Jurisdiction

The exclusive jurisdiction for all claims against or by Legal Advice 247 resulting from and in conjunction with this Expert Agreement shall be the UK.

  1. Invalid Clauses

If one or more clauses of this contract or the additional contractual bases are or becomes invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the rest of this contract.

  1. Additional Provisions Relating to Remote Desktop Usage

Experts who use remote desktop tools hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Any use of the remote desktop tools, whereby you can access and control the Customer's computer, shall be for the sole purposes of computer diagnosis, service and repair as requested by the Customer;
  • You agree that you will be solely responsible for any claim of loss or harm arising out of your use of the remote desktop technology with the Customer;
  • Legal Advice 247 may record any or all remote desktop sessions at Legal Advice 247's sole discretion;
  • You will not install any software without the express agreement of the Customer;
  • You will support only one Customer via remote desktop at a time; and
  • You will not use the remote desktop technology to do anything unlawful or otherwise not permitted by our Terms of Service or this Expert Agreement.
